HOW
TO RENT THE EDUCATIONAL CENTER
The Board of Directors wishes to thank you so much for making The Beulah
Rucker Museum and Educational Foundation complex an option for your function.
We strive to serve you in any way possible to make your event the best
it can possibly be. Our complex is geared to small functions such as
receptions, meetings, small weddings, classes, business and community
affairs. We can adequately accommodate 40 to 60 people
in a quaint, rustic and picturesque setting.
Unfortunately the museum is not designed for huge and boisterous parties,
which means we cannot allow alcohol or alcohol containers, consumption
of alcohol, bands, DJ's or any type DJ equipment, wall or ceiling declarations,
the opening of the double doors, (single doors only), wall destruction
(no tacks, nails or tape) or any defacing of the property. We do allow
declarations on tables, projection systems, (tv's and screens) and simple
signs with Museum personnel on hand for hanging the sign, but
only in designated areas. Food may be brought in, but the kitchen stove
may not be used because of insurance purposes.
We ask that you respect the Crypt where Mrs. Beulah Rucker
is laid to rest. No playing or loitering inside the stone wall. Please
do not block the driveway, as there are families that live on the property.
Parking is confined to the lower level of the grounds.
For rental fee information, please give us a call at 404/625-5550
or 404/401-6589, or you can e-mail us at rojene@bellsouth.net.
If you want to look at the center, please call. Just let us know
which day and time you would like to stop by.
If our facility cannot accommodate your needs, may we recommend The
Georgia Mountain Center, The Civic Building, Jay-Mor's Farm,
or even one of the local Motels with conference rooms.
We thank you so much for your consideration. We will do everything in our
means to accommodate you and your function to the best of our ability.
